Performed duties as purchasing manager and estimator for prominent custom home builder with 2005 sales of over 17 million dollars.

Superintended process of model home program,  including design, specifications,  budgeting,  procurement,  construction, and quality control.  Three models earned Best of Show awards in Parades of Homes.

Instituted new computer program for budgeting, purchasing, accounting, contracts and scheduling.

Trained new and existing personnel in methods, procedures, policies and programs.

Created specifications, changes, pricing and documentation of “white paper” custom homes.

Coordinated progress of owners, designers and engineers through pre construction process.

Managed on-site construction of custom homes ranging from $150,000 to $1,000,000 in cost.  Responsible for labor costs, owner communication, change orders during construction, quality control, scheduling and permitting.

Supervised road building, utility installation, amenity construction and building pad preparation on two developments.  Coordinated scheduling and communication between paving contractors, surveyors, engineers, utility companies and other contractors.

Prepared plans, budgets, permits, marketing material and staff on two new projects.

Developed specifications, schedules, product and building program for new developments ranging from 1200 sq. ft. townhouses to 2100 sq. ft. single family homes.

Initiated use of computer system to aid in management of warranty service department.

Donaldson Company, a subsidiary of a Canadian development company, builds small single-family homes.  Donaldson Company Inc. has now ceased operations.

Coordinated with company controller to design and implement a computer program to generate budgets and purchase orders.

Built three models and seventy seven 1400 to 1800 sq. ft. units in eighteen months from permitting to warranty service.

Built the 1988 “Best of Show” winner; 1989 “Best Kitchen”, “Best Exterior” and “Best Master Bath” in the Pinellas Parade of Homes.

Compiled detailed option books in cooperation with sales manager for sales presentations.
